Designer: Andy Warhol
These are sold framed, framing was done by Mark Ryan Framing to museum standards.
The Story: These were found in a consignment store with the Bluegrass Edition stamp on the reverse side. Bluegrass Edition prints are high-quality screenprints on museum board faithful to Warhol's original work and color schemes. Originally produced for a German gallery show by the same name they were intended to be signed and numbered by Warhol however due to disagreements with the gallery he did not eventually sign them. They have never been validated by the Warhol Foundation several curators and galleries in our orbit have confirmed the tale of the unsigned prints. There is debate between the Foundation and others involved of the providence of these, but whichever side of the debate you land on there is no debate these are beautiful and accurate to Warhol’s original work.
